Today, 16th December, marks an exciting milestone for NECA Education & Careers; The completion of the first Certificate III electrical apprenticeship class delivered at our Dandenong Campus.
This achievement represents far more than the completion of off-the-job training. It reflects the determination of our apprentices, the commitment of our teaching and student services teams, and the collective effort required to establish a new campus from the ground up.
To celebrate the occasion, we recognised the apprentices who have completed their training with us and congratulated the outstanding Dandenong delivery team who supported them every step of the way.
Establishing a new campus is no small task, particularly while simultaneously building a delivery team, delivering training, and implementing the systems and processes needed to support students effectively.
Delivering every unit for the first time brought long hours, inevitable teething issues, and constant problem-solving. Through it all though, a dedicated group of people worked tirelessly to ensure students stayed supported, engaged and progressing. Seeing our first cohort reach completion is a testament to that effort.
We would like to acknowledge several standout achievements that reflect the strength of this cohort and the Dandenong Campus as a whole:
It has been a privilege to watch the Dandenong Campus develop its own rhythm and identity, and not become a simple extension of the NECA E&C Campus in Carlton North, but a place that fits the people who use it every day.
Well done to everyone involved. The entire NECA team look forward to celebrating many more successful completing classes in the months and years ahead, knowing these outcomes are only possible through teamwork, commitment and a shared focus on quality training and student success.
