Due to popular demand, NECA Skills Centre has announced the return of the Certificate IV in Frontline Management starting 18 August 2014. This qualification has been specifically developed for the electrotechnology industry in Victoria and covers specific electrical contracting management contexts as well as local industry issues and practices.
The Frontline Management program aims to develop/further develop management skills to foster effective people and work management practices in the workplace and reflects the role of individuals who take first line management in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts.
Whether you’re moving to a leading hand or supervisory role or for those contractors who are starting to grow their business and employ teams, this nationally recognised qualification is for you.
The program is completed over a 6 month period and is broken into clusters combining on-the-job assessments and on campus studies to allow students to continue to work.
The course covers three broad areas:
- Managing Work
- Managing Workplace Risks
- Managing Teams and People
We are currently updating our courses and will be offering Certificate IV in Project Management in 2018. Keep an eye out for more information.
