The programme is delivered in-person at our trade school or through real-time facilitated online classes, so you will need a computer and internet access. Assessment methods include questions and evidence from projects.
Simulation Day
A highlight of the Diploma of Project Management is the Simulation Day at the Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC). Run by Master Builders Victoria, the BLSC is a revolutionary new training facility for Australia’s building and construction industry and is the first of its kind in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere.
Within this virtual worksite environment, you will be immersed in realistic project management scenarios alongside specialist actors and provided with feedback on your performance.
Delivery will be in-person or via facilitated online classes over 12 days, combined with practical application in the workplace. The delivery program will consist of a blend of formal classroom presentations, guest speakers and group learning. Assessments will be completed outside of the classroom.
Students will need to allocate time each week to undertake some self-directed learning including research and assessment work. Students should expect to study for approximately 8 hours a week for the duration of the course.
