Course information

Emergencies can happen at any time and in any place and being prepared to respond can mean the difference between life and death. LVR and CPR training are crucial skills that can empower individuals to act when required.

The CPR and Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) course is a training program designed to equip individuals, particularly those working in electrical environments, with the skills to respond to both cardiac emergencies and low-voltage electrical hazards. The course combines CPR training with specific training on how to safely rescue someone from a live low voltage panel, addressing the unique risks associated with electrocution.

Course description

  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • UETDRMP018 Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel

We deliver these units in succession, as HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a prerequisite requirement for UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a live low voltage panel.

You must have successfully completed all training and assessment for the CPR unit prior to commencing the LVR unit.
