Apprentice and trainee management: Our process

Regardless of whether your organisation needs an electrical apprentice, somebody in another trade or a trainee, our process is designed to be as simple as possible, with a focus on the complex aspects of the process that can take up time for employers and negate some of the benefits of employing an apprentice or trainee. We want the experience to be as rewarding as possible for all parties, and here’s how we ensure that from beginning to end.

Tell us what you’re looking for: This is where everything starts. It’s vital for your apprentice or trainee to fit your needs on both a personal and professional level. We’ll take care of the time-consuming recruitment process for you, using your guidance and notes to make sure every candidate you end up seeing is an ideal fit.
We provide your apprentice or trainee: Once you’ve decided on the right person for your business, the apprentice or trainee will be leased to you from NECA Education and Careers. The only paperwork that you’ll have to worry about is a weekly invoice. We’ll take care of the rest!
Ongoing support: Aside from managing the paperwork and red tape, our team also provides ongoing support in the form of mentoring for apprentices and trainees, as well as workplace visits and advice to ensure everything’s running smoothly for everybody involved.
