This course is a safety refresher which covers safe access, risk assessments, isolation and tag out etc.

This program includes the skills and knowledge to safely isolate, test, tag, disconnect and reconnect a permanently wired electrical appliance compliant with the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and the AS/NZS 4836:2011-Safe working on or near low-voltage electrical installations and equipment. Participants will also learn to undertake the necessary electrical tests to ensure the appliance is safe prior to re-connection and commissioning.Please note that the latest edition of any standard includes relevant amendments.

You are required to bring your own IR tester.

As of 1 July 2016, it is a condition of your licence to undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD). This course will earn you 8 points towards your CPD points.
